Dr Abaalkhail joined Nazaha in 2011 as Head of Planning and Development, and was appointed as Head of International Collaboration in 2017. Dr Abaalkhail supervises and leads work related to: the Saudi delegation to the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group, Governmental Experts for the UNCAC Review Mechanism, international conventions, MoUs between the Commission and state counterparties and FATF Mutual Evaluations. He is also member of the Standing Committee for Legal Assistance Requests. Between 2003 and 2011, he was a bank examiner and a senior insurance supervisor at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. Dr Abaalkhail has US Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Saudi CPA qualifications and a PhD from Sussex Center for the study of corruption (University of Sussex, UK).
