Candice Welsch is the Chief of the Implementation Support Section of the Corruption and Economic Crime Branch of UNODC. She leads a team of experts that provide technical assistance to countries in preventing and combating corruption under the United Nations Convention against Corruption. At the United Nations, she has worked on criminal justice reform, organized crime and trafficking in persons, as well as at an international war crimes tribunal. At the national level, Ms. Welsch worked as a prosecutor specialized in international cooperation and organized crime. She has an LL.M. in international criminal justice, a Master’s degree and law degrees in both common law and civil law.
