Deputy Director since 2016, Ms Mesnard provides intellectual leadership for the OECD on a range of topics including anti-corruption, corporate governance, competition, financial markets, investment and insurance. Ms Mesnard was previously the coordinator of the OECD’s New Approaches to Economic Challenges Initiative and Senior Advisor to the OECD Secretary-General and Counsellor. For almost a decade, she contributed to OECD’s work on corporate governance in South-East Europe, the Russian Federation, Asia and China, including the development of the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of SOEs. Her roles prior to OECD included management consultant at Deloitte & Touche, Assistant Professor in Economics and Financial Analyst at Citibank. Ms Mesnard holds a PhD in Economics.
