Jimena Reyes a Paris Bar human rights attorney. As FIDH's director for the Americas since June 2003, she has conducted investigations on human rights in Northern and Latin American countries, particularly on the rule of law, migration, business and human rights, impunity of international crimes, corruption and human rights defenders. She litigates before the Inter-American system of human rights. She holds a Bachelor of Law from King's College, a Maîtrise de droit from the Panthéon Sorbonne, and a Master in European studies from the College of Europe. She was a Visiting professional at the International Criminal Court trial division in 2016 and an Eleonor Roosevelt Fellow at Harvard Law School Human Rights Program in 2018.  

Jimena Reyes, abogada del Colegio de Abogados de París ha sido directora de la FIDH para las Américas desde junio de 2003, ha llevado a cabo investigaciones sobre derechos humanos en 17 países de América Latina y Norteamérica, en particular sobre Estado de derecho, crímenes internacionales, empresas y derechos humanos, corrupción, asesinatos y criminalización de defensores de derechos humanos. También ha litigado ante el sistema interamericano de derechos humanos y presentado comunicaciones ante la Fiscalía de la CPI sobre Colombia, Honduras y México. Es diplomada del King's College (Bachelor of Law), del Panthéon Sorbonne (Maîtrise de droit) y del Colegio de Europa. Fue visiting fellow en Harvard Law School.
