I am a communication professional with three years of experience working with international organisations in the developing and developed world. I have organised high-level meetings, conferences and events, developed communication strategic plans, and coordinated donor funded capacity building projects for the Afghan government.
From 2015 to 2016, I worked as a consultant for a World Bank funded project for the Afghan Ministry of Public Works where I coordinated capacity building projects for the ministry, funded by international organisations and aid agencies such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
I have a master’s degree in Global and European Politics. As part of my master’s program I conducted a research project on the “Challenge of Reconciliation in post 2001 Afghanistan” and carried out an internship with Public Affairs and Communications directorate (PAC) of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). At PAC I assisted in organising the largest public event at the level of the organisation; the OECD Forum 2018 “What Brings Us Together”
I am currently looking for a job with International Organisations, INGOs and aid agencies involved in implementing development projects around the world. Given my background and my career objectives, I am particularly interested in working for technical assistance and capacity building projects.
